Dodgeball Members Portal
A sleek web application that allows Nottingham dodgeball club members to access and manage their account information.

Problem
Nottingham Sheriffs Dodgeball Club had no existing software or infrastructure to manage their members' accounts and club information. This meant using a range of different tools and services to manage their data, which was time-consuming and error-prone. Additionally, the club's data was spread across multiple systems, making it difficult to enforce access and manage.
The club also utilised Facebook events to manage league meets and communicate with members. This was a manual process that required a lot of effort and was fairly outdated. Whilst solutions such as Spond are available, the club wanted a more personal solution which met all of their needs.
Solution
I developed the Nottingham Dodgeball Club Members Portal; a bespoke solution designed to streamline the management of members, training sessions, and events. Since the club recently moved all chats and communications to Discord, the Members Portal allows users to authenticate with SSO, ensuring members only have to manage a single account.
For members, the portal provides a centralised area for managing their profile, including personal information, communication preferences, and emergency contact information. Members can also register their availability for events and training sessions, allowing them to be considered for team selection.
For committee members, the portal offers a dedicated section for managing club events, training sessions, and member communications. They can also view advanced analytics and manage member profiles, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate. All of the above features are protected by robust access controls, ensuring that users do not have access to data they do not require.
